EduLeadership Development Programme
The Edu leadership Development Program, which ran from June 2013 to March 2016, aimed to transform 9 revenue villages in 6 Gram Panchayats. The program focused on monitoring Anganwadi’s and schools, ensuring compliance with ICDS and RTE standards.
The project began with a baseline survey in six-gram panchayats, covering nine revenue villages. The survey collected data on schools, student enrolment, teachers, and education-related committees. Community meetings were organized to introduce the project and encourage community participation.
Resource mapping identified available resources, including government offices, schools, and community centres. Meetings with stakeholders, including government officials, teachers, and community leaders, helped build trust and facilitate collaboration.
The program made significant progress, with 216 Mata Samiti meetings, 75 SMC meetings, and 264 "Mel-Jol" classes conducted. The program achieved zero dropout rates in Nyaya Panchayat Rajwal through community mobilization and coordination with parents, teachers, and education officials.
The program demonstrated the importance of community engagement, capacity building, and collaborative efforts in improving education outcomes.
