Mrs. Uma Tripathi is a dedicated social worker, educationist, and community leader currently serving as the President of Srishti Seva Sansthan, a voluntary organization committed to the upliftment of marginalized and vulnerable communities. Born on 05 July 1977 in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, she holds Master’s degrees in Hindi (1999) and Sociology (2001). She worked as an Assistant Teacher in Sociology at Ramrekha Rai Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Maharajganj, for ten years from 2011 to 2021, and has been serving as a Judicial Bench Member of the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) since 28 July 2021. Since the establishment of Srishti Seva Sansthan, she has been actively involved in the organization’s development, management, planning, implementation, and community outreach initiatives. At the grassroots level, she continuously works with Dalits, marginalized communities, women, and children to address their social issues, spread awareness about rights and entitlements, and promote sustainable development. Her areas of expertise include organizational leadership, community mobilization, women and child development, training and capacity building, social research, and documentation. Through her committed efforts, she strives to build an equitable, just, and self-reliant society.
