About Srishti Seva Sansthan: Srishti Seva Sansthan is the Grass Route level organization. The organization acts as an enabler. SSS came into being in the year 2000 when the group of dynamic team with similar thoughts, similar ideologies and similar age came together to work for a larger cause of addressing the inequities prevailing in the society. It started as a small committed group working for the rights of marginal class. The organization was cognizant with the plethora of problems plaguing the district and subsequently the organization’s focus was expanded in the areas of Reproductive, Maternal, Child and Adolescent health, Gender, Women empowerment, Child protection and child rights, HIV/AIDS awareness, Livelihood, Education, and Agriculture etc.The type of activities undertaken by the organization range from advocacy, implementation, mapping, community mobilization, capacity building, with focus remaining on the vulnerable segments of the society.

Role Description:

 

Coordinator – Women Empowerment Project is responsible for the overall implementation of the project in specific locations (as assigned) in line with the agreed project proposal and timelines. The coordinator will also be responsible for networking and building rapport with relevant Government officials at the block and district levels and also ensure all arrangements and coordination of logistics for all the agreed program activities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Program implementation  

  • Work with the project Director to design a proper implementation plan in accordance with the MOU with clear timelines and output deliverables  
  • Liaison with the relevant Government officials to ensure quick approvals and other relevant permissions are secured in time for the project activities.
  • Prepare event/activity/outcome reports for all project activities in prescribed format to be shared internally and/or externally.
  • Explore new partnerships with organisations and Government departments, which can add value to the impact of the programs.
  • Ensure program documentation and process is followed as defined in the standard operating procedure for program delivery
  • Coordinate and monitor the vendors for the infrastructure upgradation component of the project in coordination with the procurement team.

Program monitoring and reporting

  • Ensure that all activities are being conducted in accordance with the delivery standards and relevant reports and data points are shared in time.
  • Coordinate data collection activities end to end with support from M&E team and support with the data analysis as necessary
  • Work with the M&E team to design concurrent monitoring report templates and periodically appraise the project team on the course corrections that need to be undertaken.
  • Prepared to design monthly/quarterly and annual reports for the projects by providing all information required for the same.

Finance management

  • Prepare activity wise budgets in line with the agreed overall budget for the programs in coordination with the project manager
  • Ensure all financial procedures in Salesforce with respect to the project are done on time in coordination with the manager and the finance team
  • Ensure all invoices/bills are maintained and submitted on time to the project finance team.

Selection Criteria

 

Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience of working with projects related to teacher capacity building and school development.   

Education

Post graduate – sociology, social work, rural development and any other allied subjects  

Languages needed

English, Hindi (mandatory)

Salary: 25,000/- Plus
